My Orlando Adventure with International United Miss | Royalty Trip #1

Orlando! I mean, I’ve always thought of it as this magical place, and this trip just amplified that a hundredfold. But let’s backtrack a bit.

Night One: As I landed and settled into the IUM house, there was this buzzing excitement in the air. We all just couldn’t sit still. The best solution? Making TikToks, of course! It started off as just passing time, but before we knew it, we were collapsing into fits of laughter, mimicking each other, and sharing parts of ourselves that aren’t always out in the open. It felt like a sleepover from my teen years.

The Glam Day: I don't think I’ve ever had a day where I've changed my clothes as much as I did on this one. Hair and makeup? Flawless, thanks to Larri at UrbanGlow and our IUM Director, Krisann. But with every outfit change, I felt like we were all getting more and more like sisters. Inside jokes, secret handshakes, and lots and lots of laughs. And just when I thought we were done, we jumped into pool time. The pizza-making with the littles was an absolute blast. NUM Little Miss Noelle, my pizza-making buddy, and I were determined to make the cutest pizza, with a smiley face and eyelashes of course. Such a cute moment.

Disney Day: Honestly, this day was like reliving my childhood dreams. Even though we woke up super early (I mean, the sun was barely up!), the energy was infectious. The matching hairstyles were a fun touch, but those custom Mickey ears? I felt like a true Disney princess! We went on as many rides as possible, snapped what felt like a thousand photos, and "Be Our Guest" for lunch? Divine. It was like walking straight into Beauty and the Beast.

By the time we got back to the IUM mansion (which, by the way, was HUGE), I was ready to just flop onto a bed. But the hot tub called, and a bunch of us sat around, legs dipped in warm water, chatting about everything under the sun. A few of us peeked at another pageant that was streaming, offering our own funny commentary and cheering on friends.

Honestly, this trip was like a whirlwind of emotions – from the giddy happiness of Disney to the simple joy of making TikToks with friends. These are the moments that make me realize how important it is to embrace every experience that comes my way. We have 4 more royalty trips as International United Miss Queens, and I can't decide if I want them to hurry up and get here so we can create more memories, or if time should slow down so I can soak in every moment of this year of a lifetime.
