Strength in Ability: Kaitlyn's inspiring story on Eps. 01 of the Strength Series
I had the pleasure of interviewing Kaitlyn Klampert, the National United Miss New England Teen for the first episode of my Strength Series on Instagram Live. Kaitlyn's inspiring story of growth and acceptance left me in awe.
Kaitlyn's platform is centered around empowering disabled children and promoting their abilities. As an ambassador for Shriners Hospital, she strives to spread the message that disability should not be seen as a limitation, but rather as an opportunity to showcase one's unique talents and strengths. Through her advocacy work, Kaitlyn aims to inspire others to recognize the potential in all individuals, regardless of their physical or cognitive abilities.
One of her favorite quotes is "She believed she could, so she did" by R.S. Grey, which perfectly encapsulates her approach to life. Kaitlyn is a rising junior at St. John's University, studying to be an elementary school teacher. She recently started a club on campus called The Future Educators Club to promote and help students, and to make a lasting impact during her time at St. John's.
Kaitlyn's positive attitude and determination to make a difference in the world is truly inspiring. Her story is a testament to the power of the human spirit and the strength that lies within all of us, no matter what challenges we may face.
