Day 1: Unforgettable Beginnings, Excitement and Camaraderie

What a spectacular start to International United Miss 2023! Today marked the much-awaited first day, and it was nothing short of amazing. My roommate, the incredible International United Ms.

California Ashley Newberry, and I kicked off the day by transforming our hotel room into a haven of inspiration. We decorated the walls with uplifting sticky-notes, setting the tone for a week filled with positivity and determination.

Next up: Hair & Makeup courtesy of the talented MK Makeup Artistry team. They worked their magic, ensuring we looked and felt like true beauty queens. With every stroke of the brush, my confidence soared to new heights.

Registration was an exciting moment as we crossed paths with the reigning queens, who radiated grace and elegance. We also had the opportunity to submit our community service hours, a reminder of the incredible impact we can make through our platform, this organiza

tion and our individual commitments to service.

At orientation, we learned about the upcoming events, competitions, and important details that will shape our journey throughout the competition. And who could forget the incredible worlds fair party? It was a night to remember, filled with great food, laughter, and unforgettable moments shared with friends both old and new. The atmosphere was electric as we travled around the world in under an hour, made tons of tik toks, and bonded over our shar

ed love for the pageant world.

But the excitement didn't end there. After the festivities, a group of us gathered for extra practice, honing our skills for the upcoming stage competitions. The dedication and support amongst competitors was palpable and absolutely empowering!!

As Day 1 came to a close, I couldn't help but feel a surge of gratitude and determination. The energy and camaraderie have been truly inspiring. Tomorrow holds even more promise, with optional stage competitions and opportunities to showcase our talents and unique qualities.
